Community Roots
Our relationship with the surrounding villages is built on mutual respect. We employ our staff almost exclusively from our immediate neighbour, the village of Ume Anyar. Providing stable employment close to home allows North Balinese families to remain together in their ancestral villages rather than migrating to the crowded tourist hubs of the south.
We view our presence here as a responsibility to support the next generation of local leaders:
Agricultural Support: A portion of every organic rice harvest from our fields is distributed directly to our staff households.
Educational Mentorship: We host 60 local youth interns annually, providing hands-on training in holistic wellness and hospitality to equip them with career-ready skills.

Our daily operations are guided by Tri Hita Karana, the traditional Balinese philosophy of maintaining harmony between people, nature, and the spiritual realm.
The Family Temple stands as the anchor of our grounds. Here, guests and staff participate in community ceremonies during the New and Full Moon phases, or experience the cleansing ritual of traditional water purification. These shared practices offer first-hand insight into the rhythm of Balinese village life.
Earth to Body
True wellness requires removing synthetic chemicals from what we consume and apply to our skin. We cultivate an organic, farm-to-table culinary and spa experience, so no synthetic pesticides or toxins enter our kitchens or sanctuary.

Nutritional Vitality
We grow antioxidant-rich cacao and Moringa to produce our own organic oils and powders. We also craft our own anti-inflammatory Bali Jamu powder and prepare our culinary staples entirely from scratch.
Botanical Spa Care
Our spa formulations and body products are plant-based. We blend clean botanical ingredients to create our custom shampoos, conditioners, and body creams, keeping them free from toxins and synthetic fragrances.
Pure Daily Rituals
We produce our own chemical-free, all-natural incense on-site. Inspired by ancient Balinese traditions, this ensures the air you breathe during ceremonies and daily reflection remains completely pure.
