Maitri: Zen Cuisine: Nourishing the Body
At our restaurant, Maitri, food is the foundation for wellbeing. Named for the idea of universal loving kindness, Maitri treats every shared meal as an act of care.
Led by Chef Made and his team, the kitchen prepares nutrient-dense dishes across Balinese, European, and Indian traditions, using organic ingredients sourced primarily from our on-site farm.
Menus are designed around your personal constitution, ensuring every meal nourishes your specific health needs.
Forest Bathing & Agroforestry
Our grounds are home to an ancient forest and a working agroforestry farm, which together form the foundation of our philosophy. We act as stewards of this land, nurturing it as a living ecosystem rather than shaping it to our will.
By promoting biodiversity and avoiding monoculture, we cultivate medicinal herbs, cacao, mango, and moringa alongside the wild forest we leave untouched. It offers a quiet setting to walk, sit, and experience nature first-hand — and, through the practice of forest bathing, to let your nervous system rest.
Facilities & Spaces
Our grounds are curated to support every part of your stay, balancing physical vitality with the need for quiet restoration. From the infinity pool and twin yoga pavilions to the rooftop shala, the meditation sanctuary, and shaded corners for reflection, each space has been shaped with intention.

The Zen Apothecary
Our on-site apothecary is a dedicated workshop where we blend pure, nutrient-dense ingredients into our signature spa amenities and therapeutic remedies. Inspired by the herbal expertise of our sister company, Zen Maitri, we combine ancient botanical knowledge with a commitment to clean formulations.
Every product is plant-based, responsibly sourced, and free from synthetic toxins — from our handcrafted hair and skin care to our own moringa, cacao, and hand-rolled incense.
